Hello,

Could someone please help transcribe this death record? It's a short one. :-)

Køge, Skt Nikolaj, Ramsø, Roskilde  1785-1815 opslag 48
right side; fifth entry for 1812

I've got most of the words
-- -- (March) ---- Tommer----
Christopher Chrane 47 Aar ---- ----

Thanks!

Trine Nielsen

All I can see is that he was a carpenter (Tømmermester) and that there was singing at his funeral. Dont know what the word is before sang (singing). And looks like 12 march to me.

Trine,
Thank you for the help!

I get 'uden Sang', i.e. a brief and simple service.  And I would concur with a reading of the 12th.

Hi Ralph,
The 12th it is, then. Thank you for figuring out the rest.

Hi again,
Do you know what the word is before Tømmermester? It looks like the same word for every entry on that page.
Thanks.

Sallie,

The word before 'Tømmermester' is 'jordet' (grounded/buried)

Ole,
Thank you for the new word!
