I posted a query about this family last year on the old forum and received a very helpful reply from Anni Larsen.

Now I find a Poul Albert Jacobsen on this website:

About halfway down is the following:

Because the time and place are right I suspect/hope this may be the Poul Albert Jacobsen I'm looking for (my mother's first cousin).  Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to navigate the familiekroeniken website in order to discover who this particular family tree belongs to or how to contact them.

I have no idea how or where a man from København met a woman from Hvilsom so I am at a loss for where to search for a marriage record.  I found no marriage in the book for Hvilsom, Rinds, Viborg 1930-46.

Thanks in advance for any help with the website mentioned above or any other suggestions for finding more about this couple and their son.  Also, I have not identified the younger woman and 3rd boy in the photo (see original query), but they are not members of the immediate Jørgen Jacobsen family.

How to navigate at Familiekrøniken:

Go to www.familiekroeniken.dk
Select 'Søg i Familiekrøniken'
Under 'Navn', enter the first name on your list, i.e. Niels Nielsen Gundestrup, and hit Enter.
One name appears: Click on this name, and you reach the family tree you were asking about.
On the line that starts 'Stamblad', you get the name of the family tree owner, Martin KI Christensen.
Click on 'send mail' to contact him.

I want to say "thank you" for this great forum.  A few weeks ago I received an email from the nephew of Poul Albert Jacobsen.  He had just seen my first post in this thread and was eager to learn how we were related (we are 2nd cousins).  His mother, the little girl in the mentioned photo, had just passed away at the age of 103 (!) and he is writing about her life.

We have been burning up the "ether" with information exchange.  Incidentally, the third boy in the photo was another son, Erik, who died in 1917 and the young woman was a nanny.

So, many thanks; it's been a wonderful experience and it wouldn't have happened without this board and the dedicated, helpful people who contribute to it.
