In the Aarhus Domsogn Hasle Aarhus register for 1801-1813
opslag 262 record 38 I find the death entry for my 3rd great aunt:

Anno: 1804
Date: May 22
Record: 38
Ane Barbara, Slagter Thomas Weise og Hust: Ane Jensd:
deres Datter død, den 18 May begravet ?? 12
Age: 18 Aar
??: Do

There is information that I can not make out/read: just before the number 12 there is a letter (abbreviation ?) that I do not make out nor understand its meaning. It appears on most of the entries. Does it have significance?

Also, in the last column there appears to be: "Do" which I assume is short for "ditto" the same as above. I cannot make out what the "above" is and its meaning.

Any help would be greatly appreciated---thank you.

My guess (and it is only a guess) is that the funeral was taking place at 12 o'clock. If you look at "0pslag" 253 you can see a "Kl 12".
The "Do" is "Ditto" for Skt. Oluf (the church yard Skt. Oluf)

The girl is not 18 years old but 18 weeks old.

I assume because "klokken" refers to 'bell' another meaning is in reference to time. Hence,"kl 12" would have the meaning of 12 o'clock (noon). Kl 1 is 1 o'clock PM, etc..

Thank you for the feedback, the added in-sights makes genealogy research that much more interesting.
