I hope some can help me to find out where we can find more information about Johanne Caroline Jensen born 11 september 1841 in Særslev, Holbæk County.

We Know she gets a son 14.2.1866 in Kalundborg - he is raised by her parents - and she dissapears.

We have found her Birth at Familysearch:

Reference nr. 61273
 
Endowments for the dead, 1877-1970, heir indexes, 1870-1956 Baptisms for the dead 1943-1970/church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints St. George Temple.

What do the sentence about Endowement mean? Can we find her in St. George Temple.
Why is she mentiond here?

If she has left for USA - we would like to know where to find more information.

Where have you found her in FS? Do you have a link?

The text sounds as if she was baptized as a mormom after her death which was normally done by her descendants.

I Understand what You Write and that the information is given by a member - but do not understand how to find more. I do not Know where the mothers dissapears to after the Birth of the son i 1866.

I am not sure that you can conclude that Johanne Caroline Jensen emigrated as a mormon. It could be a user of FS who has updated her birth date in the database.


You could contact one of the Mormon Genealogy Centers here in Denmark. See this list: http://www.mormon.dk/?mod=slaegtshistoriske_centre 
In the centers they have microfiches with the Danes who emigrated as mormons, ordered alphabetically.
In one of the centers you could also order that film, no. 471966, where you have found the info about Johanne.


I assume that you have checked the Departure List of the Parish where Johanne gave birth to her son?

She is not found as departed from the birthparish either is she found as dead.

I must try to find her somehow - maybe a probate after the parents can explain where she is.

Probably just coincidence of names, but a Johanne Jensen 26 married Lars Nielsen 14 July 1866 (Kalundborg 1857-1891 opslag 28 #11).  She is age 28-1/2 when they have a son 4 January 1869 (Kalundborg 1857-1880 opslag 94 #1).  But no middle name Caroline listed either record.
