Hi there
Ellen Friis married Jens Jensen in Emmerlev, Hojer, Tonder in 1854. Ellen was my great great grandfather's (Johann Peter Andersen Friis) sister.
Did she and Jens have any children? Do they have any living descendants?
I would dearly love to find some Danish relations ;D

Is there no one out there who knows anything about Ellen Friis?
She was born in 1831, baptised at Hostrup, Tonder. Her parents were both deceased by 1841, and in 1845 she is living in Agerskov, Norre Rangstrup, Haderslev, described as a 'pauper/orphan'.
She married Jens Jensen in 1854.
Then what became of her?

Perhaps this is Jens Jensen in the 1860 Emmerlev census. It says his wife if in Hjerpsted parish, Tonder.

Hi folks
I am still looking for Ellen Andresen Friis b. 1831, Tonder and her husband Jens Jensen b. 1824.
They have been found in the 1860 census (see below) but not in any other records. Did they have children? When did they die? Did the emigrate?
I'd appreciate any help.
