What is the name of the Town and what is the correct spelling for the name of the sogn?
I have found 3 different spellings for it.

I know that 1822 frilod was referring to his exemption.

Ole,  You asked about the father's name?   I believe Joni Laurentze was baptized Johan and was the son of "Lars Johansen."
In the Lædsruller he was called Jony or Joni Laurenze, Laurentii, etc.
When he married (1791) Pernille Pedersdatter he was called Johan Laurentz.  In the censuses he was called Johan Lorentsen (1787) and John Laurence (1801).  On his childrens' birth records he was called John Laurence.  I have not found his death record yet.

My conclusion is that "Joni Laurentze's" father's name was probably Laurentz Johansen and "Joni, Johan or John" was named Johan Laurentzen.

Using the name John Laurence may have come about while he was working for a William Nesbeth, an Englishman, who owned a "Bleachery" in Lyngby and Johan became known by that name at the Bleachery.
