Does anyone have knowledge about the House Books for Nyboder residents?

I understand that the House Books are available for research at the Archives in København.
From the 1801 census, I learned that my 3 great-grandfather was a 'skibetstomrer' living on 'Kaninlægden' in Nyboder with his family.

Is there any useful information in those books for my genealogical research?

Would I learn any more than what I already know?
Best wishes, Rog

Hi Roger,

According to the link below, the House Books mostly contains the name of  the head of the family, but the content of the books varies over time. They seem to be in a rather poor condition, though.
I haven't actually seen them, but from the description it seems to me that they could be seen as complements to censuses.

According to https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/billedviser?epid=17287942#214767,40560956 and next
Volume 3 1770-1800 contains Kaningaden, but there is only data about the head of the family.
Volume 6 1816-1827     -       Kaninlængen with names and other data on all members of the family, but
                              all pages are partly unreadable.

Thanks, Ole
It looks as though only Vol. 3 would be of any use to me since Søren Jensen and his family lived there from 1790 to about 1801.
