Hans Christensen's "Ansøgninger" for the Participation Medal, 1864 War, was apparently filed in Århus Amt, Horsens Herred.

Where should I look for that herred in the 1870 census records?
Hans Christensen reported that he was living in Horsens on the application but I cannot find it when searching for the 1870 census for Århus Amt.  In 1880 Hans was living in Århus Købstad sogn, Arhus amt.

Best wishes, Rog
