Thanks, Lars, for the reply.  I use the DDD often, but in this case, I thought it would be easier if I could view the original census images, since I wanted to see all the people in one little village.

Most of the census 1803 Schleswig is kept in the Archive of Schleswig, Germany
It's possible to get a digital kopi (on cd) sent by post - write the emailadress at
