The death record of Anna Malena Hanses Stodt is on page 249, Bylerup, Tonder, and is in easy to read penmanship.  It can be found on the bottom of the left column and the top of the right column.  I would like the entire record translated.  Thank you so much!!!  Claude

Old 36 years 5 weeks less than 2 days. Leaves behind 3 children: Christian, Anna Dorthe and Martin.

Øster Terp is in Bedsted parish, Sønder Rangstrup herred, Aabenraa amt.
So that's where to look for her birth!

Ole:  Yes, I did study the data you sent on Anna Magdalene.  I'm not sure if  the Hans Lorentzen Muller is the same one whose next three children were born in Brorup parish in Ribe.  And, I'm puzzled on how I can sort it out.  I have looked for marriages of a Hans Lorentzen in Brorup and find none.  Do you think it is possible that this Anna Magdalena is his sixth child and he lived in Tonder County at that time?  I looked for the Denmark link for my family for 34 years before I found one.... and it is very exciting to discover my ancestors there.  I'm 82 and have been working on all my genealogy lines since 1979!  The churchbooks in Denmark are amazing.... if I could just read them!!  Let me know what you think.  Thanks, Claude

So that seems to 'solve' the question!
Unless he had been miller in Brørup for some years in between and then returned to Terp.

Thanks Ole, I feel quite certain this family is not mine.  I do wish I could find Hans Lorentzen,, who has three children that I know of:  Christian, b. 26 Feb 1746; Jorgen (my connection) b. 28 January 1748 - married Karen Pedersdater 10 Sept. 1780 in Farup, died 2 June 1803 in Farup...he had Lintrup attached to his name when some of his kids were born and even in his death record; and Lorents b. 25 Feb 1750 in Brorup and died there 16 weeks later.  From an 1803 census of Farup I know that his wife Karen Pedersdatter had a sister Anna Kierstina Pedersdatter, who, I found,  was the widow of Mads Jorgen Hansen.
Two additional bits of information that I've found that are probably connected somehow are:  1.  The third of Jorgan Hansen Lintrup's eight children was born in Horne parish...all others in Farup.  2.  And, the sixth child was named Nicolaj.  That is the first "Nicolaj" I've run across in all my Danish research...and I can find a Nicolaj Lorentzen born in the same county about six years before his dad, Jorgen Hansen was born in 1748.  I keep  thinking there must be a connection....but, my slumbering brain can't find it!  Now, I'm sure you are bored with all this.... but I did want you to know I'm trying!!  Best wishes, Claude
