I think this is the Jørgen Rasmussen who is my 4th great grandfather. I have not been able to find a record of the Birth/Baptism. Would his son have been buried without being baptized?  If this is my 4th great grandfather's son his mother would have been Maren Sørensdatter.

I read: Jørgen Rasmusens Søn i Sønderbye Død 1790 aar 5 ugen gl:.

Jørgen Rasmussen's son died age 5 weeks Vejle, Bjerre, Glud, Enesteministerialbog (1780 FKVD - 1797 FKVD)  page 120  - right 2nd from top

A little misreading:

Jørgen Rasmusens Søn i Sønderbye Død 1790 var 5 ugen gl:.

Children were baptized very soon after their birth in the late 18th century. Often at home, and then the baptistment was published in the church when the baby was a little stronger - and often at the same time as the mother was introduced to the congregation after her "unpure" period after the birth - normally 40 days.

Som my guess is that the baby was baptized at home, but died before publication in the church. My guess is that the birth was written into the register when the child was baptized in the church/ published - and it never happened, and thus no listing.
