In the 1801 census my ancestor, Jørgen Christian Løndahl, is living in Holckegaden, Fåborg, Svendborg  https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/da/billedviser?bsid=27579#27579,2925434

Is there anyway to find out if the house he lived in still exists and what its modern address is?

Hi Paul
The street is called Holkegade today (you can find it on Google maps if you enter Holkegade, Fåborg). The street still exist, but I'm not sure about the number.
You can find old maps of Fåborg here https://hkpn.gst.dk/. Enter 'Fåborg'.
The oldest map is from 1819.
Please note, you get different result entering 'Fåborg' or Faaborg'.

Ellen

Hi Paul
If we guessed, he was living with his family in no 1 (since his is listed as the first family in Holkegade), the house still stands.
Holkegade 1 was built in 1720.
