I am particularly interested in knowing who his father was (Lars Frimand?) and the names of the witnesses to see if I can confirm which family he is in.

Thanks,

Trine Nielsen

Do you know what surname he got? That would help as well.

But either way, they are the same. One is from the main book, the other from the copy. It was made a rule to have 2 after some point, to ensure they didnt get destroyed by water/fire.

Pricipal Bydahl's daughter Bodild Kirstine from Dame. Thor Hendrixsen and Christen Nielsen from Dame. ? Levin of Grøndlund. Hans Christensen's daughter Ellen from Dame.
The father is named Lars Frimand on Marienborg (castle).

Thanks, Trine.  I don't know what surname he got.  I haven't been able to find him.  Obviously the next census is 1834 and he would be old enough to be out of the house if he made it that far.  His mother's marriage record in 1806 said she was pregnant twice before the marriage but it doesn't say whether the children are alive at that point.

Hi.

Lars Frimand is here.

Lars Frimand was alleged father, so you would think that Hans Jørgens last name was Larsen.
Hans Jørgen was born in Fanefjord, Møn. There are 2 entries for Hans Jørgen Larsen here:

You may also be able to find him in the military register (lægdsrulle)

hope it helps  :)

Wow, Bodil.  Thank you.  I figured it would be Larsen but hadn't found anything in the census.  I'm not sure how to search military records so that was a big help.  That gives me more info to go on.

Thanks.
