Strenger Jurriaensz Lambaek/Lambeek/Lambeck was born around 1674 in Vejle (Weedel) and he emigrated to Amsterdam. He was a seafaring man who died before 1730 at sea. His name might be spelled; Strengel Jurriaansz Lambeek, Strange Juriaens, Strangel Jurriaens, Strangel Jurians, Jurgens en Lombeck.
He got married 07-01-1701 in Amsterdam to
Dorothea Mattheijs. She was born around 1677 in Holstebro.
They had a son named Mattheijs Lambeek, baptized 04-11-1716 Amsterdam.
He married 26-04-1743 Amsterdam to
Engel Cornelis Nieborn/Nieuwborg, born around 1716 in Ringkobing
The family was Evangelic Luthern.
As this is the first time for me on this forum, Any help will be greatly appreciated.
I am planning to come to Denmark in the summer to visit Vejle, Holstebro and Ringkobing.
I hope the family will be located so that I have more information when I travel to your country.
With great regard,
Marnix Alexander de Paula Lopes

Hi, welcome to the forum  :)

I do not know this family but I guess that the danish name of "Strenger Jurriaensz Lambaek" must be: Strange Jørgensen Lambæk and that his father's first name is Jørgen.

I have found a Lambæk family in the city of Vejle:

https://www.brejl.dk/vejle.html

189 Cathrine Nielsdatter i Vejle. 5.3.1737, fol.229B. Skiftebrev nr.132.
B:
1) Jørgen Iversen Lambæk, guldsmedesvend
2) Dorthe Iversdatter
3) Anne Marie Iversdatter.

This is the probate of the widow Cathrine Nielsdatter who died in 1737 and left 2 daughters and a son, goldsmith Jørgen Iversen Lambæk.

The churchbook shows that she was the widow of Iver Guldsmed = the goldsmith Iver (her burial 8-3-1737:):

In 1719 Iver Guldsmed/Goldsmith in Vejle had a son and gave him the name Strange (page 32):

This is what I am able to find about the Lambæk family.

The name Strange is not a common name. I guess that the goldsmith Iver's full name was Iver Jørgensen Lambæk, that he was the brother of Strange Jørgensen Lambæk and named a son after him.

Dear mr Henrik Brandt,

I am so sorry that I only now have found your entry in this forum, It was not forwarded to me via e-Mail so I had no idea that you had made an entry. I would very much like to thank you for your help. It is wonderful that you have found the family Lambeak and  the name Strange. The name being not common is a great help.
My Strange Jorgenson Lambaek registred for marriage 17-01-1701 in Amsterdam at the age of 27, so he was born in the year 1674 in Vejle. So 45 years earlier than the Strange you found. So what does this mean? It could indeed be that he was an uncle and that Iver was his brother. It seems the names were given from father to son....? I think there must be family Strange, but how. A father or grandfather perhaps? Is nothing written about them in archieves/books/documents?

I just returned from Denmark and made a roundtrip through Jutland; very stunning and beautiful country indeed. I visited Ringkobing, Holstebro and Vejle.

About the name of the wife of Mattheijs Lambaek; Engel Cornelis (Elsje/Elsie) Nieuwborg / Nieborn / Nyborn / Wieborre / Wiebore; she was born in 1716 Ringkobing [27 at her marriage 26-04-1743 Amsterdam].  I found her as a Ev. Luth. in the Lidmaten Communicanten regidter in Amsterdam registered 23-12-1738 as Engeltje Cornelis. Is there any link to Ringkobing of her family that you might know?

If you can help, could you please let me know you have made a post here via my e-mail address: fofofo1966@gmail.com? I otherwise do not know about it.

Once more my gratitude for your wonderful help,
With great respect, Marnix Alexander de Paula Lopes, greetings from The Netherlands.
