Oh my goodness!  I think I just found someone I've been trying to find for more than two years!  Would someone please transcribe this entire entry.  She is oldest sister of my g grandfather and I've never been able to find if she married, who she married, and if they had any children!  Her father is Anders Hansen and her mother is Karen Hansdatter....and apparently she married someone named Sorensen! I can hardly wait to get a response from this request!  Thank you.  Claude

Oh my Goodness! No wonder I had a hard time sleeping last night - I was so excited about what somebody might  find and relay that information to m!e.  And, as usual, what you found was greater than I expected.  Thank you so much!  Now, enjoy your two days off-line.  Claude

Ole:  Just re-read your response.  I want to tell you I knew about the poorhouse where she lived the first few years of her life.  She was born in and was baptised in Janderup where her mother was born.  Apparently went home to be with her mother when her first child was born.  That poorhouse is STILL standing and my daughter Heidi and I visited there in May when we were visiting all the churches my ancestors were associated with.
When you mentioned the "grave speech" which was written in German, the answer is "Yes", I would like it translated when you have time.  Really, I'm getting to feel like I'm bringing that  family back to life and introducing them to their descendants.  Hopefully, they are as excited to meet us as we are to meet them.  No, I have not gone BONKERS...just have some neurons that are making new connections!!!

Claude
The grave speech was only mentioned as one word. So the speech itself went to heaven !
By the way I spoke to my brother yesterday about the poor house near Vinum. He knew it very well,
as he has passed it many times as a vet i that area.

Ole:  Good to hear from you.  I recorded the two marriages and the death of Joanna Marie Andersdatter (Andersen) and all the significant stuff about her first husband.  Would you look at that death record again and see if it mentioned whether her 2nd husband was still alive.  I want to know if she had any children with her second husband.....I didn't notice any when I went through the births in Mølden parish.  I'm assuming that is where they lived.  I also couldn't find a death record for Thor Andersen Sorensen.  I'm about as good doing genealogy as I am at learning how to fold a fitted sheet!!!  Claude
