Ferdinand Julius Petersen (b. 1860)

Greetings all,


I'm working on building a reversed family tree to find the identity of my biological father and I have a person of interest who I want to explore but struggle with a bit. His name is Ferdinand Julius Petersen who was from Copenhagen and he was married to Marie Petersen (b. 1851). According to my research they had three children, Ferdinandine Petersen (b. 1882), Carl Valdemar Petersen (b. 1883) and Robert Julius Petersen (b.1890). I already know about Carl's and Robert's descendants who I can conclude are not my ancestors as they both immigrated to USA early in their lives. But what I want to find out about is their sister Ferdinandine. Did she have any children that lived in Denmark? I couldn't find any records of such. If she is not my ancestor then some of the siblings of Ferdinand or his wife Marie would be my ancestor I believe. I can't find any census document from when the two of them were children.

Can someone kindly help me so I can continue my research?

By the way, my estimated third or fourth cousin on 23andMe from USA is a descendant of Carl Valdemar.

I came across this information myself. But I found it hard to believe that Andreas and Bolette were Ferdinand's parents as they have a different last name and Andreas is only 16 years older than Ferdinand. Is it certain that Ferdinandine had no children of her own? Also, would you think that Ferdinand was a only child?

I saw the family trees on MyHeritage and it includes so many of the descendants of Ester Wilred but there is unfortunately nothing on Tido Valdemar or Willy Julius and I can't find anything about the two of them elsewhere. I would like to know if they have any descendants also.

Is there any way for me to explore the living descendants of Ester?

At https://www.krak.dk/ I found a person with the same name as Ester's son born 1938. You could try to contact him, maybe write a letter?

The remark says that Marie was not named after her father because he only appeared for the priest on 10 Jan. 1852 and acknowledged the paternity. Marie had been baptized 4 Jan. 1852.
