Any ideas for finding Jensine Christine in parish records?  


this is a record I found with some birth information. However I have not been able to find her parish record in Flade.
I also looked in Åsted and Fredrikshavn other places listed as her birth on death record and places I've found her family in censuses

Inger, yes that is my family.  
I found it interesting as I researched this family that in some records the Jensen children are Jensen's and sometimes Christensens.

I have found the birth records of all the children except for:
Thomas Peter
Peter Frederik
Jensine Christine  
Any help finding any of these children would be greatly appreciated.  


I wonder what happened to Jens Christensen between 1860 and 1904.  Are there any divorce records to search?

The last census I found him in is 1860 (see below) He doesn't appear in the 1870 Census with his family but he didn't die until 1904. Yet his wife moved to the United states and is found in the 1880 Ephraim Utah census.

Thank you.  I'm thrilled to have more on Jens, which I gave up on so long ago.  
I'm amazed at how fast you all on this forum find info when I have spent years.

It has been 5 years since I worked on this family and just started this thread because someone changed the birthdate for Jensine on familytree with the headstone as a source.  I've found with this family especially that headstones aren't necessarily a firm source.   The change made on Familytree sparked my interest to once again try to find the true source.

I apologize for not putting all that I found back then.  
I'm on vacation and should have waited till I was home to find it all.  
I can't seem to leave this genealogy alone even while on vacation.
I mistakenly thought it would be enough to just list the places I've found her family in Censuses.

Using the opslag #'s I saved in my excel file, seemed to work on danishfamilysearch.  This is not the program I used 5 years ago, but glad it seems to have the same page numbers and it wasn't to hard to find these records again.

Interesting that Grethe Amalia Nielsen is listed in both 1860 Censuses.

Many Danish records have been indexed during the past 5 years, making it easier to find some persons, but not all.

Just to sum up:

Married in Tolne 1857.

Children born in Tolne 1858 and 1859.

1 Feb. 1860 in Aasted.

Children born in Flade 1864 and 1867.

1 Feb. 1870 in Elling.

Where is the family hiding in the period 1860 to 1863, when the children Jensine and Thomas Peter are born ??
