Hello,

Johanne Andersdatter is my 5th great-grandmother.  She died age 77 on 24 May 1828 in Ladby, Kølstrup, Bjerge, Odense, Denmark.

Death here: https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/da/billedviser?bsid=179903#179903,30510521

Johanne was married to Hans Larsen and they had, that I could find, 5 children:

Lars Hansen 7 Dec 1783
Karen Hansdatter 6 Aug 1786

I find her on the 1787 and 1801 Census as follows:

Hans Larsen dies 3 May 1806 in Ladby, Kølstrup, Bjerge, Odense, Denmark here: https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/da/billedviser?epid=17137895#179901,30510139

I searched the Kølstrup betrothal and marriage records from 1776-1801 and did not find a record for them nor could I locate a birth record for Johanne Andersdatter in Kølstrup.

Kølstrup has an index of marriage and death.  Johanne Andersdatter is here: https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/da/billedviser?bsid=174280#174280,29316516 and Hans Larsen is here: https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/da/billedviser?bsid=174280#174280,29316480

Any ideas where to look for her and their marriage?

Hi Ole.  I am just wondering how you thought Johanne Sophie Andersdatter was my Johanne Andersdatter?  I have not seen her name with Sophie before.

Ole Westermann

I have often seen people baptized with 2 or more first names only use one of them later. It's easier !!
And I think, that is the case here.

That makes sense.  I tried to find a birth record for her from 1746-1755 in Revninge and did not find her.  The census and death records all have her born around 1751.

An agreement between Johanne Andersdatter and her son Lars Hansen, who has taken over the leasehold of the
farm in Ladby. Anne Margrethe is now married to Hans Pedersen in Bovense, her sisters still unmarried and their
gurdians are still the 2 halfbrothers to their father, Søren and Mads Nielsen in Ladby.
Lars promises to pay for the evt. weddings of his 2 sisters - their inhertance remains within the farm until further.
Anne Margrethe has received most of her inheritance, and Lars pays the remaining to her husband.
Within 14 days a contract of 'aftægt' for Johanne Andersdatter shall be produced.

Thank you so much for finding that Ole!  I searched the online probate transcripts for Odense and did not find either Hans Larsen or Johanne Andersdatter (there was one probate for a Gjertrude Hansen who might have been an aunt).

It looks like the son of Hans Larsen, Anders, did not survive to 1806 but was alive at the 1801 Census so I can look for a death record.
