Thanks to an earlier post and response from Ole I have been searching  the transcribed records for Alslev-Hostrup sogn. Under birth's I find these two records and I am confused.

1736 – 13 -9
2 Pentecoste døbt @Hans Jensens søn i Kraunse ved navn *Clemmend Hansen båret til dåben af Wedste Clemmensens kone i Kokspanggaard Boeld (Bodil Hansdatter) Hans Sørensen i Kraunse, Jens Clemmensen og Christen Degn ibid. Niels Hansen i Kokspang, Morten Taarup i Hostrup, Maren Madsdatter i Kraunse, Hans Jensens egen tjenestepige Karen, Mette Hansdatter fra Wisselbjerg.

1736 – 13 -13
Dom 21 Trinitatis blev døbt @Hans Jensens barn i Kraunse kaldet *Johanne Hansdatter båret af Otto Bleches hustru i Hostrup. Niels Marbæk i Hostrup, Christen Pedersen i Kokspang, Niels Hansen ibid, Søren Hansen i Kraunse, Morten Sørensen Torrup, Johanne Thomasdatter og Frederikke Nielsdatter af Hostrup, Kirsten Terkildsdatter i Kraunse.

Are there two Hans Jensens from Kraunse or is this the birth of twins?

Also from time to time I have come across other transcribed parish records thanks to members of this forum. I am wondering if there is a place to go to find other such records.

Thank You

With only 5 months apart it must be 2 different Hans Jensen in Kraunse.
Searching among the married (viede) in Hostrup:
1724  Dom 19 Trinit. Jens Clemmensens søn Hans Jensen og Hans Sørensens datter Mette Hansdatter begge af Kraunse.
1727  Dom 22 p. Trinit. Hans Jensen i Kraunse og Ursula Christensdatter.

The first in 1736 must be HJ from 1724 - and the second prob. HJ from 1727.

On searching for possible transcriptions you can use the Danish word 'afskrift' - ex. Hostrup kirkebog afskrift.
But here http://www.horsboel.dk/kirkebog/kirke.html are a lot of them from Jylland.
That's just what I had among my favourits.

mvh Ole
