I have found some deed and tax records for an ancestor.  I hope someone can tell me if I am interpreting them correctly, and answer a few questions.

1784 Dec 28, Ole Krabes enke pays 50 Rd tax on an 8 fag stuehus in Verst by & sogn.

1795 Jul 11, Anna Hansdatter, Oluf Krabes enke, gets 50 Rd loan for house in Verst by & sogn.

1795 Oct 13, is this a deed for the house mentioned in the 11/7 1795 panteobligation?  Was it purchased at auction on 22 Oct 1792?

1795 Dec 7-9, selveier Anne Hansdatter Ole Krabes enke taxed 40 Rd on 5 fag hus.

1804 Oct, Ole Krabbes enke pays 40 Rd tax on stuehus in Verst.

1813 Jun 21, don't know what this is about, middle of right page

1826 Jan 8, Ane Hansdatter sold house in Verst to Jeppe Pedersen and paid all the loan from 1795.

If the house in 1795 is different from the house in 1784, then I should look for the purchase and sale of the house in 1784.  Is there anything else to look for?

Thank you very much.

Hej Lisa

That's a lot of questions in one thread ! I'll try anyway.

1784 Dec 28 is a taxation for fire insurance - OK's widow in the southern part of the farm
8 fag farmhouse and stable and barn, all valued for 50 rd - it is not a tax.

1795 Jul 11 - she became owner of the house in Verst on Oct. 22,1792 at an auction - price 50 rd.
Oluf Krabbe had been leaseholder of the house previously.

1795 Dec 7-9 taxation of the house, farmhouse 5 fag, 6½ alen deep, one floor high, oak timber frame,
2 fag stable, 1 chimney, 1 oven, clay walls, straw roof - all valued for 40 rd

1804 same taxation 40 rd (and not a tax)

1813 Jun 22 - about the deed from 1795 - last ½ in translation in summary:
As I below signing is married to the widow of Oluf Krabbe, Anne Hansdatter i Weerst, I have become
the owner of the house and the deed from 1795. Søren Nielsen of Weerst.

1826 Jan 8 - AH's husband Søren Nielsen is dead earlier, and she now sells her house to Jeppe Pedersen
acc. to a contract from April 6, 1823 - her guardian (lavværge) Erik Olsen Krag.

Until 1795 the house was owned by Ribe Stifts Hospital.

mvh Ole

Hej Ole

I did ask too many questions, sorry.

Thank you for taking the time to look at all the links and summarize the information the records contain, and correcting my misinterpretation that 50Rd was the tax and not the value.  I will try to find more about the 1784 house.  There is not much on AO now for Ribe Hospital.

I hope you are doing well.  Thanks again for the help.
