I am trying to straighten this family out and make sure my information is correct.

This is what I have:

Jens Jensen

Christened: 11 Nov 1721 in Hundborg, Hundborg, Thisted
1715-1786 Hundborg-Jannerup, Hundborg, Thisted, Denmark img 168 pg 177-#5
https://www.danishfamilysearch.com/sogn1718/churchbook/source133348/opslag8545141
Marriages: see below
Death: 30 Nov 1805 Death entry not located to date.

Wife #1: Else Pdedersdatter

Married: Else Pedersdatter: 4 October 1754
1715-1786 Hundborg-Jannerup, Hundborg, Thisted, Denmark img 229 pg 246 A-#3
https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/billedviser?bsid=164641#164641,27655604

I have no Death for her nor any Children for this marriage recorded.

Wife #2: Else Christensdatter

Christened: 27 Sep 1733 in Tilsted, Hudborg, Thisted
https://www.danishfamilysearch.com/sogn1727/churchbook/source136867/opslag14889296)

I have no marriage date.

I have Jens Jensen with the following Children, all born in Jannerup-Hundborg, Hundborg, Thisted in the period of 1715-1786:

1-   Christen Jensen Ch: 2 Sep 1759  https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/billedviser?bsid=164641#164641,27655560  Mother/wife NOT named
2-   Jens Jensen Ch: 27 Jul 1760  https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/billedviser?bsid=164641#164641,27655560  Mother/wife NOT named
3-   Maren Jensdatter Ch: 24 Jan 1762 https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/billedviser?bsid=164641#164641,27655561 Mother/wife Else Christensdatter
4-   Dorthe Jensdatter Ch: 11 Feb 1765 https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/billedviser?bsid=164641#164641,27655562  Mother/ wife Else Christensdatter
5-   Christen Jensen Ch: 1 Nov 1766  https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/billedviser?bsid=164641#164641,27655563  Mother/wife NOT named
6-   Christen Jensen 10Jan 1768  https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/billedviser?bsid=164641#164641,27655563  Mother/wife NOT named
7-   Maren Catharine Jensdatter Ch: 29 Oct 1775  https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/billedviser?bsid=164641#164641,27655563  Mother/wife NOT named

The birth/christening date entries seem to fit one family and based on the fact that 2 of the children have Else Christensdatter listed as the mother and wife I am assuming that the others belong to this family.

I know that there are several Jens Jensens in the area so I want to be confident that I have my family.

My question/concern is How can I be sure?

Any insight/help would be appreciated. Thank you....

Your information may be correct. The 7 mentioned children was all born in Snejbjerg!

Jens was burried August 31st 1760:
https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/billedviser?bsid=164641#164641,27655580

Dorthe was burried Feb. 20th 1765:
https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/billedviser?bsid=164641#164641,27655581

A little strange? Christen was burried Oct. 19th. 1766, 7 weeks and 6 days old. 14 days later a new Christen was christened!

Christen was burried Nov. 4th 1769

Stillborn burried March 13th 1771

Thank you for your help

RE: the Christens they named the second after the first.

It appears they didn't have much success in getting children raised. This had to be tough on the parents.

Hi

It was the age of Christen, that made me make a note. It is impossible with two births in 3 months! If it was the older Christen, the age was 7 years and not 7 weeks.

Have you seen theese 2 censuses?

This Jens Jensen could be yours, because he was the only one in Snegstrup, Jannerup, who matches the age of your Jens.

Jens Søes wife was burried at age 71 years old, April 8th 1786:
https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/billedviser?bsid=164641#164641,27655584

This indicates, that the Jens from the censuses was not your Jens! Where was your Jens in 1787 and in 1801?
