Lissa's translation of my grandmother's birth gave me the information I needed to find my great grandparent's marriage, but the image is not the best.

1885-1890 Skt Johannes Sokkelund København  opslag 292 nr 168

This is what I know

?? ?? Magnus Löfgren  ?? ??
Anna Kathrina Adamsdatter Frid ?? ??
??
29 May 1889

Can someone help fill in the blanks? If it is any help, both were born in Sweden.

Yes, this has to be Magnus and Anna, even though the name is Mogens. My grandma had a brother named Oskar Einar, who would have been born about that time. He was the oldest, their brother was born in 1892 and my grandma in 1898.

I know at some point they moved to Hjørring. Magnus and Anna were there until at least 1929. Magnus was born in 1861 and died in Oct 1948 and Anna was born in 1863 and died in Aug 1931.

I think their brother Magnus Hans was born in Herslev.

Is there a place to look for records of Magnus and Anna's arrival in Denmark from Sweden? I don't know if they came together, knew each other in Sweden? Unfortunately the people who might have known have died.

Thanks for finding them.

I have tried to find them here, but no luck: http://ddd.dda.dk/immibas/htm/immibaslink.htm

It's working permissions and citizenships.

I don't have an Ernst Scheibel or Margrethe Scheibel Bahr (Margareth) in my family tree. Can you tell me their connection to  Lofgren and Frid/Fried /Adamsen?

My great grandfather, Magnus Lofgren emigrated from Sweden to Denmark in 1882.

My great grandmother Anna Kathrina Adamsdatter Frid emigrated to Denmark in 1880.

There is no connection to Holland from my Lofgren and Frid/Fried /Adamsen ancestors.

If you can share your connection I can fill in whatever information I may have.
