I am needing a translation of the attached birth record.  It seems so different from other records I've worked on - maybe a big German influence?  I know his father is Gartner Friedrich Wilhelm Kayser, and he is mentioned in the remarks under the birth/baptism dates.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1894-1936, Sønderborg, Als Sønder, Sønderborg;  Opslag 28, #27.

Thanks for your time.

The record is in German.  Here's the note:

Gemäß Mitteilung
des KGL Standesamt v. 24.1.14
hat der Gärtner Friedrich
Wilhelm Kayser, welcher am 18.4.13 mit
der Mutter die Ehe geschlossen hat, dem Kind
seinem familiennamen Kayser erteilt
(signed) Falentiner

According to the registry office. gardner F. W. K., who married the mother 18 April 1913, has given the child his family name.

Hans Jensen Andersen son of unmarried servant Anna Kirstine Andersen of Kirkeby, near Svendborg, employed at Elgaard, Kjær parish, but currently here in Sønderborg.  Sponsors workman P. Rasmussen and wife, and farmhand Andreas Jensen in Ulkebüll.

With thirteen years between the birth and the marriage, the biological father looks to be a mystery.

Thank you so much Ralph!  I could never have figured that out myself!
