Christen Pedersen

I am trying to locate the death record of Christen Pedersen born 1798  Vejle / Tørrild / Nørup parish / Churchbooks / Churchbook 1748 - 1809 Nørup / Page No. 55.  I think this is his birth record.  I believe he died in 1813 in Nørup.  I am learning to read the records in the church books but could not find this one.  His parents are Peder Christensen Baastland and Ane Kirstine Madsdatter.  Hoping someone can help me find the church record.  I don't know Danish but I am learning a few words at a time.  Not sure I have even posted this request correctly.

On page 55 I think it says:

That might very well be his baptism.

I do not see Christen Pedersen's death in 1813 in Nørup.
There is a Christen Pedersen's son, who died.
But that is most likely not his son, as he would only be 15 at this time.

I thank everyone for responding.  For the death date I was relying on information from someone in the family who was doing research and  perhaps she was incorrect.  I will follow all the leads you have given me.

The birth of Peder Madsen on 17 Sep 1828 in Nørup, opslag 9 nr 19 may give a clue as to where Christen Pedersen is located.  There is a Christen Pedersen listed as one of the witnesses at the baptism.  Unfortunately I cannot read where he is from.

Hi Sandra.

I dont think that Christen Pedersen, mentioned as a baptism witness i 1828 in Nørup, is the person you are looking for.

He (the baptism witness) lived at "Sillehus" a farm near Sødover Mark, Nørup parish. He was married in Nørup church the 21 of October 1826 (opsl. 85), he was 24, and came from Ravning in Bredsten parisk, where he was born 1802. He died the 7. of March 1832 in Nørup parish, 30 years old (=born 1802) (opsl.118).
