Hej,

I need your help with deciphering and translating the baptism record for Jens Pedersen: 16 Dec 1759, Aaker Sogn, Sönder Herred, Bornholm Amt.

The record is located at Aakirkeby Sogn Kirkebog 1742-1791, opslag 198.

I have attached an image of the record for your use.

Please transcribe the record in Danish.

I would also greatly appreciate it if you would translate it into English.

Thank you for your help!

Mvh,

David

I read this much:

D 16. Bapt: Peder Jensens, paa Kongens Mark, Drengebarn,
kaldet Jens.  Suscept:  Anne Elsebeth, Terkel
Haagensens?.  Fadder, Matthiis Korun?, Peder
Sadsersen?, Anders Jensen i .orver, Elsebeth
Capitain Lietet: Andersens Daater, Bold Peders
Daater.

As clipped, it is not clear whether that date is the 16th, or Advent III, or both.

Baptized the son of Peder Jensen on 'Kongens Mark' (royal lands), named Jens.  Anne Lisabeth, Terkel Haagensens wife presented the child at the font.  Other witnesses/sponsors were Matthis K......, Peder S......., Anders Jensen in ......., Elsebeth, Captain L...... Andersens daughter, Bold (Bodil) Pedersdatter.

The distinction between Lisabet and Elsebeth is clearly intentional.
