Hi

I found the death of my 4x great grandmother Karen Kirstine Brandt. Could someone please provide a translation of the remarks section? I don't quite understand the meaning.

Located middle of the page, #83, died 29 April 1852, buried 4 May 1852
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-1971-33462-5108-84?cc=2078555&wc=M5VP-PT5:357517801,357517802,358588701,358855401

It's also found on AO: Copenhagen Vor Frue new version 1844-1853, ops 231

Thank you

Broken down a bit differently:

nedsat i Koffardie Kapitan Anders Espensen Brandt
paa 100 Aar Litra EN44  4 alen i Længde - 6 alen i Bredde af
22 Maj 1817

For..elsen paa 100 aar er fra 2 Sept 1845 af et ....

Ialt at betale 2(?)

The 8' by 12' spot or plot may be adjacent to the church - it sounds a bit large for the typical burial in a church or crypt.

Maintenance paid for 100 years, but from 1817 or 1845, or eventually both?

Hej Lis and Ralph

A big thanks to both of you. I know Karen Kirstine and A. E. Brandt were both in their 80's when they died so I was totally confused when I saw 100 years. Payment for maintenance of the burial plot makes complete sense.

Again, thank you so much

Pam
