Can anyone tell me how long a person drafted into the Danish Army ca. 1900 had to serve on active duty?

Hej Don

From 1869 to 1912 they were liable for military service from the 22. to 37. year.
But that didn't mean that they were in active service for so long time. They could be recalled until the 37. year.

Looking through some of the 'lægdsruller' for that period reveals, that it was very different
how long time they were in active service.
It could be from 4 to 14 months, a few times more; some were then recalled for about 1 month
the following year or 2.
So there does not seem to have been a firm period for active service at that time.
