Hello,

I'm in a search for the "Skifte" records of Hans Peter Bentzen who died on 25 February 1896 ( age 56 year ) in København and of his wife Johanne Emilie Petrea Bentzen ( born as Petersen ) who died on 09 March 1910 Alderdomshjemmet København ( age 71 year ). I  find their names back in "Københavns Skiftekommission indtil 1919 Navneregister: Hovedregister" but I can't find their records  in "Københavns Skiftekommission indtil 1919  Hvidebog". I can't figure out how to find their records because I don't understand the numbering what is used :

1896 : Bentzen Hans Peter Uhrmager   1/370

1910 : Bentzen Hans Peter, Uhrmager  1/367   3 M
Bentzen Johanne Emilie Petrea f. Petersen B. Enke    1/371  3M

Are these records online and where and how can I find them?

Thanks in advance,

Marc Gyselinck

Hello Marc

The number refers to a 'Forseglings- og registreringsprotokol' (sealing- and registration protocol) at Rigsarkivet,
the State Archive in København. It's not online, so you have to go there or pay the archive to help you, see
http://www.sa.dk/content/us/services  How to order copies.

Ole

One of Lis' sites (#370) is wrong; it's about a shoemaker HPB in 1910.

The correct site for the journeyman clock maker HPB is
http://www.sa.dk/ao/billedviser?epid=17056262#137164,21897554  (number 370)
His number in 'Hovedregister' is more correctly 1/370 1J. There was a repeat after 1/370.

But still nothing to heir !

Ole
