The birth record says:

Jels 17th january 1907

Today appeared before the undersigned registrar the farmer Martin Thomsen - who is identified through the merchant Steinbring of Jels - living in Grønnebæk, municipality Grønnebæk, and reported that the unmarried maid Marine Thomsen - lutheran, living at his place in Grønnebæk in the said abode - at the fifteenth of January of the year one thousand nine hundred and seven at nine o'clock in the morning gave birth to a boy, and that the boy was given the names Julius Lauritzen.
One printed word has been crossed out. The reporter told that he had first hand knowledge of the birth.

As an addition to the above proclamation of the 22nd  April 1909 it is, ex officio, noted that the father of the child mentioned in this document, the farmer Julius Jensen Lauritzen the 9th March 1909 has entered into matrimony with the mother of the child, the here mentioned Marine Thomsen, at the registrars office in Jels.
