I am looking for relatives to my ancestor Heinrich Benjamin Ulrich who was born 19 Feb. 1795 in either Sternberg, Rendsburg or in Mecklenburg, Schwerin. In danish texts it states both places.

If anyone has any information about this man and his parent I would really appreaciate it.

This is just an info letting you know, you're looking in the wrong country. You have to put your search in Germany. Was looking in Danish Family Search. No cencus and no churchbook.

I had an Ulrich Family:Starting with:

Miller Heinrich (Oelkers) Ulrich
b.1650-55 in Klein-Steinwedel,Hannover,Germany
d.18.4.1706 Alfeld,Hildesheim,Germany

m.t.Anna Ilsebeth Brahm
b.Sarstedt,Germany
d.22.6.1710 Alfeld,Hildesheim.

Christian,

I could recommend two experienced researchers - but the services cost money

Rendsburg: Mr. Hans Peter Voss - http://www.hans-peter-voss.de/
Mecklenburg: Mr. Karl-Heinz Steinbruch - http://www.meinangebot.de/

Please ask them for their fees if interested.

Further a very good German Forum is here: http://forum.ahnenforschung.net/
Please note there are sections for each "Bundesland". Rendsburg belongs to Schleswig-Holstein, Schwerin and Sternberg belong to Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. There are a lot of knowledgeable and friendly people in the forum - same as in this one here.
Mange tak. Med venlig hilsen
Philipp

Svar på tysk, engelsk og fransk er også velkommen til mig

I found my Ulrich ancestors in a book: The Ulrich Family at the library in Copenhagen. I just forgot
to write my source.
Kind regards

Hi.

Maby you could use the www.adelby.com by Helmuth Martensen, Flensburg, website, and some Ulrichs there.

Go to "Bewohner des Kirchspiel Adelby2 - and to the Index -

Unfortunately the Heinrich Benjamin Ulrichs I am looking for is not in that Collectiom.

I guess I will have to drive to Germany some day because it is quite expensive to have someone look for the information.
