Help finding my 3rd great grandfather Hans Peder Pedersen

Hello, I am new to this site. I am looking for information about my 3 great grandfather, Hans Peder Pedersen. I believe he was born in Longborg Parish, Ringkobing, in 1818. I think my 3 great grandmother was Ane Dorthe Nielsdatter. I would like to find out about her also. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

What records do you have?  If you have only English language records, the parish might be Lønborg, or maybe Lomborg.

The 1845 censuses, with the first notation of birthplace, are the most completely transcribed.  Hans Peder is not immediately there with a corresponding birthplace.

Going forward for a moment to your second GG, where is the record of his birth, and his name?

To do your own research you will want to learn the various older hands. There are a number of sites with the longhand version of the older 'Gothic' longhand.  Here is one:

The spelling and vocabulary are also a bit beyond Google translate.  Family Search has some vocabulary helps.

Where the parish records are lost, the censuses of 1787 and 1801 can help, as can the probate records.
